Bala Hissar (Pashto/Urdu/Persian: قلعه بالا حصار) is a historic fortress located in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The fort was used as a royal residence for the Durrani Empire, and was renovated during Sikh rule.
